Epic Status:To Do
Currently it's possible for web developers to develop fragments using a combination of HTML (with freemarker code if desired), CSS and JavaScript. Each fragment provides a given display functionality which non-technical users can leverage to author content pages.
The goal of this epic is to take this idea one step further by allowing web developers to define configuration options for fragments. Non-technical users would then be allowed to choose the configuration values among the valid values defined for each fragment and configuration options.
This new capability will provide higher flexibility for non-technical users, which will be provided with more options within appropriate guardrails to ensure a great result. It will also save time from web developers, since it avoids the need to develop multiple similar fragments.
