      Description

Currently segments affect pages only through the experience management which effectively defines a different view/content of a page associated with a particular segment.

However, in certain scenarios another goal is to determine if the layout itself should be displayed to a particular segment. This is true of any layout type and not only for content pages.

Therefore it should be possible to associate segment entries directly with pages such that only strictly matching members of such can view the page.

(you probably want to shortcut this if the user has permission to edit the page)

Another way to express this might be: It should be possible to associate a page with a user segment in order to determine if the current user should have access to the page by checking if the user is a member of any associated user segments.
