Description of Issue: In the "Properties Override" section of the documentation, this is said about the ability to set properties for each portal instance:
"Each portal instance can have its own overriden property file following the convention portal-companyWebId.properties. To enable this feature, set the company-id-properties system property to true:
java ... -Dcompany-id-properties=true
The read order will now be: portal.properties, then portal-ext.properties and then portal-liferay.com.properties.
Note that not all properties can have different values per company."
A couple of client's have opened tickets concerning this feature in the last month (e.g. DOMINOSPIZZA-97 and MNIS-60) and they have been unable to make the properties apply in their environment. After opening a task request to see if this is possible, I was informed that when the documentation refers to 'each portal instance' that it is referring to how each separate bundle of Liferay can have its own set of properties and it can change to the name of convention of the bundle's portal (see LPP-6715 and LPP-6661).
Request: That the documentation be updated to make clear what "each portal instance" refers to.
