      Description

      When a user edits a task, the status of the task becomes "null"

      Here are the steps to reproduce the issue:

      1. Add a new task; note that the status of the task is labelled as "Open"
      2. Edit the task
      3. After clicking "Edit" for the task, the status label changes to "null"
