      Description

      Hi,

we have a wildcard certificate issued by AlphaSSL that is handled by nginx. nginx forwards the traffic to the Liferay Tomcat on port 8443, the connector is also configured with this certificate. I also tested it with forwarding to 8080, that makes no difference. This certificate works fine with the portal itself, we have no issues while browsing.

Liferay Sync however does not work, it gives

The certificate for this server is invalid. You might be connecting to a server that is pretending to be "subdomain.example.com" which could put your confidential information at risk.

As I said we have a wildcard certificate for *.example.com, not for subdomain.example.com. May that be the issue here?

At a time Liferay Sync has worked with our settings and certificate, but at least the latest version does not. Do you guys have any ideas?

      Greetings,
      Mirko
