There are three users :
Sathish , Gaganjit and Nazia.
Sathish updated a document named Kochi_Company_82_RS_Arookutty.pptx on 10 Jan 2017 (through sync only) and Nazia can see these changes (updated date is changed to 10th Jan).
But at the same time Gaganjit can not see the changes i.e. updated date in File system still shows 6 Jan 2017).
End Goal : Why its happening?
My Findings
1) In Sync.log (Gaganjit's) i can see multiple traces of
Ignored file path D:\gingerlife.gingerhotels.com\Business Development\South Zone\Arookutty, Kochi~$Kochi_Company_82_RS_Arookutty.pptx
Which is the same file where customer is having same issue.
2) Based on https://web.liferay.com/community/forums/-/message_boards/message/49873305 , such things happens if file name starts with DOT (.), in this case its not.
3) Also, such things could happen (not sure), if file is hidden.
4) Customer might have mark the file as HIDDEN and liferay sync doesn't work on hidden files. But when Gaganjit marked as normal (NOT HIDDEN) see gagan folder1.PNG then why its not working? i.e. it should be updated as its a normal file.
