After downloading the Liferay Sync client for MacOS, the application fails to open with the following error: "Liferay Sync" can't be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software.
This is due to new notarization requirements enforced by Apple.
Workaround: While we work on getting the app notarized, the workaround in the meantime is to:
- Go to the "Applications" folder
- Right click on the "Liferay Sync" app
- Select "Open" from the menu
- You should get a pop-up dialog. Click "Open"
