When creating campaign promotions, I can send emails, push notifications and SMSs. I'd like to be able to personalize the content based on the customer name.
This feature is currently available in blogs (see attached screenshot), so it should be somewhat consistent.
As we are initially adding only user name support, there's no need to add the "Definition of terms" section (which would cause a lot of UI noise), but add a help message: "You can make this message more personal by using [$TO_NAME]"
This way users will receive emails saying: "Dear Eduardo: " or push notifications saying "Hi Pavel! We have...", which provides a much better Customer Experience and higher conversions.
Steps to test this user story:
- Create a campaign
- Create a promotion
- Add SMS, Email and Push notifications with "[$TO_NAME]"
- Check all received notifications have the real recipient user name
