Can not choose an option when adding an image in specific environments

Description

Steps to reproduce:

  • Download and Set up 7.1SP4, 7.1 FP18 and commerce 2.1.1

  • Go to Commerce > Products > Options

  • Add Option Template Detail called "color"

  • Add 3 values called "black" "white" and "blue"

  • Go to Products > Add Simple called "T-shirt"

  • Click into "T-shirt " and go to options tab

  • Search for "color" and select it

  • Go to "Skus" tab and add 3 skus called "BlackSku" "White Sku" and "Blue Sku" and select the corresponding color value

  • Go to Media tab and add a new image

  • Check the Options section to see if we can select the color option

Actual Result:
Can not Choose a color Option

Expect Result:
Able to Choose a color Option

this is not reproducible in master.
Current Wildfly version used by bundle generated in master is wildfly-14.0.0-Final

Agree with Fabio here, this was probably DDM Form Taglib issue where JavaScript assets served by Wildfly fail to control rendered select html elements, what at the end resulted in static element.

I tested this bug on our current master and the form was disappearing due to js errors (probably some api changed).
Anyway I created this bug ticket for that: https://issues.liferay.com/browse/COMMERCE-4805

About this one, honestly, if we are discussing about tomcat/wildfly/jboss I don't think it's something FE related.

Not reproducible in the form as it is described. Screenshots that Lorenzo pasted are from Editing Image.

  • ticket has to be updated with accurate description or should be closed and new ticket should be created

  • It is not our bug - AUI taglib does not render properly - it renders HTML code for which JavaScript does not work - really don’t know is it because Wildfly does not serve JS or any other resource needed for proper behaviour misses

  • It is too much for us to dig into other team’s code.

can you check if you think that any of our frontends can verify this. This is not related to Option reorganization neither changes related to Product Bundles as it works in Tomcat.
